When you use our website purely for informational purposes, i.e. when you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect data that your browser transmits to the site server (so-called "server log files"). When you access our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you: our visited website, date and time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, source/reference from which you accessed the page, browser used, operating system used, and the IP address used (where applicable, in anonymised form).

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or otherwise used. However, we reserve the right to subsequently review the server log files if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

3. Hosting and Content Delivery Network

GoDaddy

We use the system of the following provider for hosting our website and displaying the site content: Go Daddy Operating Co LLC, 14455 North Hayden Road, Suite 226, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, USA. All data collected on our website is processed on the provider's servers.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

4. Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after closing the browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for longer and enable the storage of page settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). 5.1 WhatsApp Business

We offer visitors to our website the opportunity to contact us via the messaging service WhatsApp operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business Version" of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp regarding a specific business matter (e.g. an order placed), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR to process and respond to your request. On the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address or email address) in order to assign your request to a specific transaction.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries, we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the desired information efficiently and promptly. Your data will only be used to respond to your inquiry via WhatsApp. No disclosure to third parties takes place.

Please note that WhatsApp Business has access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transmits phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. We use a mobile device in whose address book only the WhatsApp contact details of those users are stored who have contacted us via WhatsApp.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and configuration options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5.2 Contact Form & Email

When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is collected. Which data is collected when using a contact form is evident from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or for contact and the associated technical administration.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, then an additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after your inquiry has been fully processed, provided there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.

6. Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing

6.1 Email Newsletter

When you subscribe to our email newsletter, we send you regular information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. For sending, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: we will only send you a newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to receiving it.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. During registration, we store your IP address as registered by your ISP as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace possible misuse. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided or by sending a message to the controller.

6.2 Newsletter to Existing Customers

If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods by email. For this, according to § 7 para. 3 UWG, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you. The data processing takes place solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct marketing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You can object to the use of your email address for this purpose at any time.

6.3 Klaviyo

Our email newsletters are sent via Klaviyo, Inc., 125 Summer St., Ste 600, Boston, MA 02110, USA. On the basis of our legitimate interest in effective newsletter marketing, we pass on your data to this provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Subject to your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the provider carries out a statistical evaluation of newsletter campaigns using tracking pixels that measure open rates and interactions. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6.4 WhatsApp Newsletter

If you subscribe to our WhatsApp newsletter, we regularly send you information about our offers via WhatsApp. The only mandatory information is your mobile phone number. You add our mobile phone number to your contacts and send us "Start" via WhatsApp. By doing so, you give us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can unsubscribe at any time by sending "Stop" via WhatsApp. We use a mobile device whose address book contains only the WhatsApp contact details of our newsletter recipients. We have concluded a data processing agreement with WhatsApp. During processing, data transfers to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may occur.

6.5 Postal Advertising

Based on our legitimate interest in personalised direct marketing, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address and – if received within the scope of the contractual relationship – your title, academic degree, year of birth and professional, industry or business designation in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and to use them for sending offers by postal mail. You can object to the storage and use at any time.

7. Web Analytics Services

7.1 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). By default, when visiting the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies that collect certain information, including your IP address, which is truncated by Google to the last digits to exclude direct personal identification.

The information is transmitted to Google servers and further processed there. Transmissions to Google LLC based in the USA are also possible. Data collected as part of the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.

Google Analytics 4 uses the "demographic features" function to create statistics about the age, gender and interests of visitors. As an extension, Google Signals can also be used to create cross-device reports. In addition, "UserIDs" can be used to analyse activities across devices if you have set up an account on this website.

This website uses the web analytics service of Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta. Using cookies and comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons), the service collects and stores pseudonymised visitor data, including IP address and browser information. This enables the evaluation of movement patterns (heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits and interactions.

8. Retargeting, Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

8.1 Meta Pixel with Advanced Data Matching

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta") in advanced data matching mode. If a user clicks on an ad we have placed on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using Meta Pixel. Additionally, this cookie captures specific customer data such as email addresses that we collect on our linked website during processes such as purchases, account sign-ins or registrations (advanced data matching).

We use Meta Pixel to make our ads on Facebook and Instagram more effective and to ensure they match users' interests ("Custom Audiences"). We also analyse the effectiveness of our ads through conversion tracking. All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that assignment to the respective user profile is possible.

8.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and the conversion tracking within Google Ads provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. We use Google Ads to promote our offers on external websites through advertising media. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an Ads ad and usually expires after 30 days.

If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the ad. This information is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

9.1 Vimeo

This website uses plugins for displaying and playing videos from Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. When you access a page with such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers and transmits information including your IP address. If you are logged into a user account with the provider, your data is directly assigned to your account when clicking on a video. On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. The service checks whether an entry is made by a natural person or improperly through automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar harmful access. For this, the provider collects the IP address, browser and operating system type, as well as the date and duration of the visit.

9.4 Google Customer Reviews

We work with Google as part of the "Google Customer Reviews" programme (Google Ireland Limited). After a purchase on our website, you will be asked whether you would like to participate in an email survey from Google. If you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, we transmit your email address to Google. Your review is then aggregated with other reviews and displayed.

You can revoke your consent at any time to the controller or to Google. During use, transmissions to Google LLC servers in the USA may occur; the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this purpose.

9.5 Zapier

This website uses the services of Zapier Inc., 548 Market St #62411, San Francisco, California 94104, USA, for the integration and synchronisation of databases and web applications. This automates our processing operations and establishes workflows. 9.6 Job Applications

On our website, we advertise currently vacant positions in a separate section. Interested parties can apply either by email to the provided contact address or via a corresponding form. Applicants must provide all personal data required for a sound assessment, including general information such as name, address and contact options, as well as performance-related evidence.

Upon receipt of the application, the data is stored and evaluated exclusively for the purpose of processing the application. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (or § 26 para. 1 BDSG), as going through the application process is considered employment contract initiation. Special categories of personal data (e.g. health data) are processed in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b GDPR.

If no selection is made or if an applicant withdraws their application early, all transmitted data and electronic correspondence will be deleted at the latest after 6 months. In the event of a successful application, the data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG) for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.

10. Tools and Other

When visiting the page, the tool is displayed to users in the form of an interactive user interface, on which consents for specific cookies can be granted by ticking checkboxes.
